Drexl Service Calendar

Below is the calendar for serving at Grandma's house.  Each participating family is on a six-week rotating schedule throughout the year.  If for any reason you cannot serve on your week, please arrange with another family to swap weeks for that instance.

Also, please note that in addition to the service to take care of the lawn or help clean the house, it is requested that sometime around mid-week, someone from the family stops by and visits.  This will help during those lonely times and also acts as a security check in case of falls, other accidents, etc.

During the summer, please do you best to make sure the lawn is cut during your week.  If you see inclement weather, look for days around the weekend (e.g. Thurs, Friday, or the following Monday) to see if one of those days will be better.  If the lawn is left for two weeks, it will be very difficult for the following family to cut.

During the fall and winter months, please do not let Grandma talk you out of coming.  There is a tremendous amount of cleaning and other work that can be done in the house.  If Grandma doesn't have things to do, look around and evaluate the home as if it were your own and identify areas to address.
