Cookbook Project

Mesh

Brett has created a mesh for us to use in transmitting and keeping files. Microsoft has this Web Sitein place where we can put any files we want up to 5GB. Brett can help keep photos and scans a reasonable size and the other files won't be very big, so this should suit us well. And this way everyone has access to upload to the project.

Letter

Dear Family,

Tim and Todd have been talking about putting together a family Cookbook for Christmas. This would be a gift that everyone can have but each families portion to the present would be their recipes. It's that simple. We are hoping that everyone will want to contribute their recipes because this is going to be a really good opportunity to share with each other and with their posterity. If you want a copy of the cookbook you will have to purchase the copy yourself, but your recipes are your contribution. The cookbook will be bound and printed so they will look nice and Brett is laying out the book so it will be aesthetically pleasing as well. The guidelines for the cookbook are below:

• Each recipe needs to be something that your family makes often or a specialty.
• The recipe can be submitted by anyone in the family.
• Each recipe must include ingredients and directions.
• Pictures of the food cooked is approved and encouraged.
• Thoughts about the food i.e. "Where it came from" . . . "Why it is made" . . . "What makes it special"
• If you have a recipe you'd like a family member to submit, then please write to that family member and request they do that.
• Email all recipes.
• Recipes have to be submitted by September 1st.
